Fashion and Design in Milan
Milan is commonly known as the capital of both fashions
and Italian style. The famous fashion centre, Via Monte
Napoleone, Via Manzoni, Via della Spiga and Corso Venezia,
is situated midst of the City. The boutiques of all important
Brands can be found here. Among the most important names: Laura Biagiotti, Valentino, Prada, Dolce & Gabbana and Versace.
Milan is overcrowded mainly during the international fashion weeks. On these occasions numerous functions are also organised in show business. The fashion shows usually take place between September and October during the famous “Milan Fashion Weeks”.
This fashion event attracts thousands of buyers, shoppers, representatives of press and TV from all over the world. The best known models are fancy to take part at this special fashion exhibition that becomes a kind of theatre of the latest fashion trends for the forthcoming season.

HOW TO GET THERE.
You can reach Via Monte Napoleone from Piazza San Babila (subway stop San Babila; Bus 54, 61, 65, 73), which is the best way to begin your window walk.
Otherwise, you can reach the other side of the Quadrilatero coming either from Via Manzoni (subway stop Montenapoleone; Tram 1, 2) or Piazza Cavour (subway stop Turati; Tram 1, 2; Bus 61, 94).
